Why in the world would NO do those trades?

Not a Boston fan but easiest way Zion can play with KD and Kyrie since Knicks don't have the #1 pick. AND that's a fair trade.

Why in the world NOT, if they're all going to leave in the next 2-4 years anyway. Get talent under contract that style of play blends with coaching philosophy.

Or keep the generational talent that you have under control for 5 years at the minimum.

I don't think I'd trade McCollum and Nurkic for Davis after what has happened the last few weeks in Portland. Is Davis taking Portland past GS? I highly doubt it. He's less connected to the city, less inclined to extend, and doesn't take them to a different level in the hierarchy of the league.

It would have to be without McCollum, which couldn't happen because Portland doesn't have the assets past him to land Davis.

Its possible GS lose 3 of their 5 allstars. I think people are forgetting that. The next big 3 that form are instant favorites. The league is reset. I like Dame and AD. Hood and Kanter are nice complimentary pieces.

I actually really like that Portland trade for both sides. I think the Blazers could get another scoring guard, and this would make them a much more well rounded team. It would also give New Orleans a really good scorer who could start to lead his own team a bit. Not that he's bad alongside Lillard, but I feel like both could be better playing the same role for separate teams.

I like the concept of the Celtics going for that pick, I just don't think Tatum is the one I would move to accomplish it. I'd try to be moving Kyrie, but with the rest of the moves here that wouldn't make any sense for New Orleans.

You assume that Portland will be able to sign Hood and Kanter. If they don't you trust traded way two of three best players for AD on a one year deal.
