I know this site is crazy low on Ben Simmons but I still think the league still values him as a soon-to-be All NBA guy.

76ers send: Ben Simmons

Heat send: Josh Richardson and Justice Winslow

The sixers get two reasonable contracts with 3 years left, one guy a really good floor spacer and the other a lead initiator, both wing defenders. This would give them flexibility between choosing Jimmy or Tobias or, if they wanted to go deep into the tax, both. Either way, this would really space the team out and still provide super switchy athletic defense.

The Heat get a young stud to build the team around who is also well liked by other players. Combine that with Miami’s allure and they’ll be able to lure the best FAs.

How do you say he's seen as an all nba guy and then think that josh richardson and Winslow would be enough to get him?

Shiller- yes he was an allstar as a 21/ 22 year old. There's no reason to believe that he isn't going to build on that. The potential is still there. The shot is the only thing missing in his game right now. Defiently something that can improve.

The fact that Philly is accepting trade offers for Simmons SIGNALS to the rest of the league the Philly believes Simmons will not improve. So why would you expect other teams to pay franchise-type player prices?

Philly isn't accepting trade offers for Simmons, so that's not a fact. Every time they've entered in trade talks, Embiid and Simmons have strictly been off limits. That's why they got Butler and not Kawhi.

@SimmonOrBust and @Fredman those are both solid points but I think you’re both missing that it’s the situation in Philadelphia that is holding him and him being on a different team is what will elevate to an All NBA guy. I don’t think the jump shot is ever going to happen, but if BS was allowed to play Point-Center and have everything go through him, he’ll elevate to top 10 quite easily, Philly can negotiate based on that. But if he stays in Philly he’ll never become that because there’s already a dominant center and too many other pieces that need the ball in the half court, so moving him at this price would make him better. I could see Miami paying more, maybe some sort of pick (except they have like none left) but this is the right ballpark.

Jalex, so what it appears you are saying is the BS needs to be the top talent on a team so that the offense flows through him (much like Jokic) . The problem with that is that Simmons is not talented enough to carry a team to the Finals.

Fredman, I’m not saying he needs to be the best guy, in saying spacing will hold any star back in the modern NBA. If Simmons has 4 spacers around him and a good secondary playmaker, I think he will be good enough to lead a team to the finals.
