Sign Durant first

Trade pick 3 and Dallas 2021 and contracts they don't want for LBJ. Still have cap to fill out roster. Maybe can get reddick. With melo as their sixth man.

I would guarantee that it will take some time before Durant SD signs anywhere
Certainly won't happen before the draft, and probably not until after July 1st.

James and Melo are friends, but we don’t know what their on court chemistry would be like.

Durant has somewhat suggested that he has no interest in playing with LBJ, so I don’t see him agreeing to go to the Knicks if he knows they’re making a move for James.

Also, was Melo not out of the L for most of the season? Why do you think any team would see him as a key cog to a contender. I actually pitched the guys on my men’s team about ponying up our beer money to sign him and they said no, would rather have the Lager!
