The Clippers do not need to add a sweetener to trade Gallo. He was either the 7th or 8th best forward in the NBA last season, healthy and is on an expiring contract giving him a positive trade value. The Clippers do not want Buttler they do not want any locker room drama.

Top brass, who are the teams with cap space that would want to help the Clippers sign another max guy and would value taking a risk on a guy like gallo.

They Clippers only need to trade Gallo if they are signing a 2nd MAX FA the Jazz have a need. Actually there are lots of teams that can't use a 6'10" forward that shoots 43% from three and plays good team defense.

rkenne_16 he is a mediocre one on one defender, yes, but in a team setting, he was one of the clippers best defenders last season. he had good help defense and took a lot of charges.
