I thought it was bad for Cleveland before I noticed that their #5 pick was included. That's horrendous.

Is this with the idea that Love's contract is horrible? Because Adams' contract is as bad or worse.

The 5th pick is not that valuable and Adams contract is much better than Love’s both in years and salary. Taking on Love and Thompson while moving up 16 spots in the draft, giving up a young starter in Ferguson, two 2nd round picks, and two players that would start for the Cavs.

The 5th pick isn't that valuable?!? Top 10 picks are the essential building blocks of a rebuilding team. Please just stop.

Also, Schroder's contract is worse than Thompson's (which is expiring) .

If you actually thought what you're typing, you'd never want to do this trade as an OKC fan. From your explanation, it's a horrible move. It's obviously all not true.

Adams and Schroeder have no long term fit on the Cavs and Schroeder is just a 2nd Jordan Clarkson. Schroeder is a negative asset. Adams has little value and the only value he has for the Cavs is in a trade, Ferguson is only a starter because OKC doesn’t have any wings outside of George, Love gives the Cavs a focal point on offense and the only way the Cavs are trading the 5th pick is if they’re getting multiple lottery picks/ recent good lottery picks or if they trade up.

The Schroeder/ Clarkson comparison is a good one. Brandon Ingram is going to fit that mold when he's inevitably overpaid too. And I really thought Hood would be there too, but the Cavs killed his value before he could get overpaid.

Him too! All guys I'd love to have as my 6th man at around 5-6 million a year. But as a starter making 11-18? Eew.

Also, center version is Kanter. Greg Monroe a few years ago too.
