I would be shocked if Presti trades Wesrbrook to Miami. He is not going to "weaken" those two Miami draft picks that OKC just got from the Clippers. Detriot is the team most likely to overpay for Westbrook.

I think Dallas should throw their hat in the ring. I think they’re currently pretty clearly on the outside of the West’s playoff picture, but they’ve given all of their picks away so they have no downside to accelerating the process. If can Russ can do anything, it’s manufacture regular season wins. The team is super spaced out, so it would give Russ lots of room to work with. The Mavs are team that’s kind of tapped out on assets so they have no trade ammo to bring in a player of Russ’ pedigree normally. If the salary is on the backside of the contract is scary, there is no owner in the league who has discussed how he’s not afraid to spend money than Cuban. Finally, maybe the biggest point, I don’t think Russ would hamper Luka’s development due to Luka’s own pedigree, and that while Russ is frustrating his track record for what he does for his teammates is pretty freaking good, plus this is where having one of the most established coaches and one notoriously tough on Point Guards comes into effect.
