Love is the best player in this trade, Cedi is a solid young guy, and the Cavs are giving up a top 5 pick for a guy who was bad last year and an over the hill Millsap.

Love may be the best player in the deal, but he only played 22 games last season and has missed at least 20 games the past 3 seasons.
So, that needs to be taken into account.
I'm not sure this is the right deal, but Love would be a great replacement for Horford, if he can stay on the court.

Joe, sure, but the Cavs aren’t trading Love unless they can get value. That’s been reported since December. They’re definitely not giving up picks or you players to move him. It’s not like capspace is a big deal for them.

There’s no downside in keeping him, if you’re not getting anything back or having to give up assets.
