Shiller they can easily get under the luxury tax now without giving up Adams and a 1st. They are currently under it, but with only 13 players so when they sign 1 more they will barely be over it. They don't have to move Adams right away. They can wait until the trade deadline hope his value goes up and try moving him without giving up a 1st and get a better return than Snell.
