I think DeAngelo Russell is someone ORL would be interested in, but I question whether he will grow into a player worth a 4-year max deal. He can’t defend, get to the rim, or score efficiently, and a max player needs to do a few of those really well. His counting stats got propped up for one year by high usage, and that won’t necessarily happen on the Warriors.

Sending him to ORL is smart - I just am skeptical that he brings back to the Warriors all he cost them (Iguodala and two 1sts) .

So Orlando is sending three starters, a first round pick and a second round pick for Russell? That’s not equal to just Iguodala. No thanks.
