Whoa there Gorriesaur. We rip on each other some on this site, especially us Knicks fans with the C’s fans, but that’s a little much there bud.

I agree for now at least Towns will not be traded. That said, no one is untouchable, and the fun in coming on here is to play fantasy GM. Don’t ruin it for everyone.

Wiggins is certainly a very bad contract, but the front office has shown little interest in moving him, even this summer. New POBO Gersson Rosas was hired for his ability to develop players, so he must have sold some plan for Wiggins at his interviews if he ended up getting the job.

Whispers during free agency were that Rosas had deals lined up to get DeAngelo Russell, and that track probably included a Wiggins trade. National talking heads like Windhorst and Zach Lowe, who were talking to GM’s at the time, both hinted that if Wiggins was traded, it would be for a better return than people expect, close to neutral.

I am skeptical any GM would put that valuation on the Wiggins deal. However, I think it is unlikely we will see a Wiggins trade right away. Even if one occurs, I doubt they would dilute the trade value of Towns by attaching Wiggins to him.
