Celtics and Grizzlies trade:

Hayward and 1st rd pick(less favorable) for Iguodala, Crowder and Howard

Iggy will help Tatum and Brown to develop, Crowder plays well with the Celtics and Dwight is given a chance to redeem his career..

Hayward gets opporunity to play an allstar level in Memphis, which he cannot do in Boston because of Walker and Tatum..

Iguodala turns 36 in January and doesn't have much left. Howard is a clown who has had several chances to redeem his career, and failed in all of them. Too many issues. Crowder would gum up the bottom of the rotation and hurt the development of several rookies.

Boston would not give Hayward even up for those three guys, let alone toss in a first. Also, with the Celtics owning Memphis's No. 1 next June, why would they do anything that might improve the Grizzlies?

Yeah would like to see how Hayward plays this year no excuses he has to perform . Celtics will be a top 3 eastern conference team this year can’t wait for the game against nets.

I think this is one of the best Hayward deals I've seen. I think Boston first has to decide what they want. If they want to win now they need veterans like Iguodala and Crowder. The rookies won't help in the PO this year, maybe never. As I think Hayward won't get back to his old level this gives Boston a chance if Philly and the Bucks get problems or have injuries. Boston also creates cap space for the next summer.

After looking at it as a Boston fan, I believe the Grizzlies won't do that. For Iggy and Crowder they will get at least one second rounder for each of them. But they won't like to take on 34 million in 2020 unless it's a player they like. Maybe they might even get a first from teams like Portland if they send both.

For example Whiteside and a first for Iggy and Crowder when Nurkic is healthy. That gives the Grizzlies cap space and even without a first rounder they might prefer this.

Also the Nets don't have depth at the wing until Durant is healthy.

others valued Hayward and others are going for Iggy and Crowder.

thats why i had to put a 1st rnd pick, could be 27-30th pick, to compensate on Haywards contract.

since Grizzlies "could" be waiving Iggy and Dwight, why not trade them and get a draft pick.

Celtics will not have a problem IF those 3 players don't fit, they could easily be waive or trade them. they are one year contracts and they will be useful in trade deadline.

Hayward could also hinders Brown and Tatum potential and vice versa for Hayward. Iggy is a veteran and he will not outshine those two like what he did in Golden State.

Memphis could be lucky if Hayward plays like an Allstar in Utah.
