The Twolves get Adams, Roberson(exp), Ferguson, Diallo, and whatever 5 1sts that they want.

The Thunder get KAT and Covington

There's not one building block player in that trade. If the Wolves move KAT, they're getting at least 1 bluechip player in addition to the draft capital.

So many of these trades throw quantity instead of quality. There's no reason to move him unless you get that offer - he's under contract for 4 more years after this.

I agree somewhat, but there’s a number of assets that eventually get you to give in if KAT is forcing his way out. I just don’t see the asset out there that is so good that it trumps a big bundle of assets.

The Pelicans Ingram? What is Ayton really worth right now? If the Knicks put Barrett in the deal what do they have and is Robinson that guy? Levert and Allen?

I just don’t see many teams out there that have a star in the making and will give him up for KAT. It’s just so hard to have a really good team build around a center. You need a wing or guard to be your best player.

the problem is that you have to find a guy that hasn't popped yet. The luck of trading Paul George has been incredible. It's not like Oladipo and SGA were can't miss guys. They were nice prospects that took massive jumps after being traded. Alos, who saw Ingram making that jump this year?

Minny has to find that prospect that's ready to jump to star. Then get assets on top of it. There's no "can't miss" move out there.

Rkenne so desperate to avoid Knicks getting Towns. He willing to ask for more OKC fans. he wants Towns and Covington.

only thing might happen is Wiggens for Love again.

Just reported that KAT wants out. Unhappy equals moving when it comes to superstars. If anyone in the Knicks organization has half a brain, they'd give up anything they need to as I believe he's from Jersey. If I was the Thunder, I'd make an offer the Wolves couldn't refuse. Anyone other than SGA and however many picks and pick swaps they need up to seven or eight. The Thunder have picks to spare.

Rkenne you have the Cavs getting multiple first as well as players for loves terrible contract, so I'd say ayton would command superstar compensation according to yur trade value logic.

I don't see why trading everything for Towns makes sense for the Knicks. Hasn't he proven he can't carry a team? You wannt strip the team of any (not that they have much) talent to bring in one star to be 8-11 place in the east for the next 4 years?

Let's see. A superstar player in the biggest market in the NBA. Think KAT might be able to sell tickets, sell merchandise, draw other superstars to play with him in NYC? Plus he's even from the area. Complete no brainer to me. They're the laughingstock of the league. This would make them relevant again.

I didn’t say the Knicks shouldn’t trade for him, but if they give up Barrett, they have nothing around him.

Also, I’ve made very few Love proposals, but the ones I have have basically been a pick protected, some expiring money and maybe a lesser young player. That’s basically what every where has reported as the likely outcome of a Love trade and that’s also what the Cavs would need in order to trade him. They’ve won 4 of the last 5 and he’s looked engaged. It’s not like the guy is being super disruptive. Even the comments that came out have names rumored to them that aren’t him.

Bmiller is comparing Melo to KAT. Seriously? That right there shows your basketball I. Q. and why you should never be taken seriously on any post regarding the NBA. Melo, in his prime, isn't even close to KAT.
