Pretty simple one, Mavs get a big on an expiring deal to replace Powell. Knicks get another draft asset and keep the books clear for 2020 and beyond.

Mavs likely won’t get as good a player for as little in a trade anywhere else.

NYK gets really less, so maybe that proposal may fit for NYK?

NYK: Brunson, Lee, 2x2nd 2020, removed protect 1st 2023
DAL: Portis, Ntilikina

Mavs could try to forward Portis, Jackson and 1st pick to Indiana for Turner!
