Cavs receive: Picks #21 and #31, Dwight Powell, Delon Wright and Maxi Kleber
Mavs receive: Andre Drummond

Why? Cavs consolidate Drummond into premium assets, taking some bad contracts in the process. Delon Wright could be a nice bench piece, and he's the type of oversized pg the Cavs are looking for. Powell is coming off an injury but he's a hard worker. Kleber is a solid rotational piece. The picks could be used to fill holes in the roster. I'm looking at guys like Achiuwa and Saddiq Bey if they fall.

For the Mavs, they clear enough room to have a shot at Giannis. Drummond gives them a 1 year solution at center.

Bad contracts for low picks?
Cavs could have kept the picks they traded to Detroit for Drummond and spent less total money.

Can you imagine drummond on dallas team logo change to a sloth. With doncic Porzingis and drummond running back on defense. Horrible idea for.

How do the cavs expect to get that much for a 25 million dollar contract even thought it will be expiring. They gave only a second to get him. His defense has become poor, his only real strength is now his rebounding which is not worth that package.
