The Pacers salary situation for the near future doesn't look to good. Once you factor in the possible re-signing of Oladipo and a contract extension on Warren you are talking about Luxury Tax numbers and I really don't think the owner ship will go there for anything less than title contention. With that being said I propose the following off season moves:

IND trades Turner to Dallas for Kleber and the #18 pick.

IND trades Oladipo, McDermott, the Dallas #18 pick and a future 2nd pick to Memphis for Winslow (Team Option after next year), Brooks, and B. Clarke.

Re-sign Sampson and J. Holiday

Clarke/Kleber/Vet Min.
Warren/J. holiday/Winslow
Sabonis/Bitadze/Samson
Brooks/Lamb
Brogdon/A. Holiday/McConnell

So Pacers give up the best player in both trades? And have to include a 1st with Dipo? They turn into a fringe playoff team with those trades.

Dallas has the nearly $8 mil in cap space for the salary difference in the first trade? Not if the salary cap drops next year.

I don't think they will give warren an extension. he has 2 more years on his contract. 2 years is very long for nba. you never know what will happen in two years.

I like Oladipo, but that’s an overpay. Oladipo might just be this guy now. You’re risking trading 3 potentially good starters for a good starter and a mid first.
