Philadelphia and Charlotte idea

Charlotte gets Al Horford, Zhaire Smith, pick 36 and either pick 21 or a future 1st round pick

Philadelphia gets Cody Zeller, Malik Monk, and pick 56.

Philadelphia says a lot of money while getting a decent backup center.

Charlotte takes on a lot of money, but Horford can still be a respectible starting big and take a change on Smith, who has barely played in the NBA. Also gets a better 2nd round pick, and either a future 1st or another 1st this year.

How does that help Philly. Doesn't make them better. They still will be over the cap, just no assets at all anymore.

Helps philly bc they save money and get shooting and solid backup big. Horford was not able to play with Simmons and embiid who sixers have said will be on roster next year.

I could see the hornets doing this, but if your the 76ers I think the picks are 2 valuable, I don't think they can afford to give them up cause they will still have no cap space to sign guys. The 76ers are stuck.
