What makes beal less valuable than Simmons? Especially to the extent where the wizards give a lotto pick and a young player.

A Beal for Simmons swap would make more sense to me. Maybe the Wizards add a highly protected first rounder to make it more even. The value of Simmons is dropping while Beal’s is rising.
