gentleman, kids, Bucks take that 4 good assets or Giannis signs next year as a FA @DAL. So I think it is a fair offer on that circumstances, especially when Bucks also create 27m cap room and a fat trade exception. Finally it depends, maybe Bucks can trade for CP3 (I can't imagin) and try another year with Giannis (without going to the finales) and let Giannis walk next year. Or they trade him @Chrismas to Dallas. We will see.

These assets are low. Even if Giannis swore he would only sign in Dallas (which he hasn’t), most teams would offer more than that, just on the hope they could change his mind in the year he was on the new team.

Giannis is a franchise-maker.

Having a chance at a title is better than having a few late 1sts and a back up pg. The Bucks would be better off with Giannis for a year than taking that and plenty of teams could justify gambling more than that for Giannis. He also has no connection to Dallas and no reason to specifically as for a trade there. Also, PG and AD both asked for trades to specific teams and the Lakers and Clippers still had to give up a ton.
