Does the Wolves really need those players back? I think they'd prefer Levert, Dinwiddie and Allen plus picks from Nets then picks and filler from Suns. That's it. No need to fill them out with unusable players.

The Nets would need to put in more to land Towns. Allen, Levert, Dinwiddie and a future first. The seconds don’t do much of anything, but they may have to include a couple.

The Suns’ part is essentially Oubre, #10, #19 and the Suns’ 2021 for Russell. I assume all the other players are to make salaries match. I think the Suns would also need to include Rubio for that purpose. $1-2M guys don’t add up very fast. If the trade as structured worked salary wish, that’s not bad return on Russell.

That said, the Wolves aren’t trading Towns unless a new owner wants to fire Rosas and let a new guy start with a clean slate. If they don’t trade towns, they won’t trade Russell, cause they’re buds.

Suns are really overpaying for Russell.

I agree with the rest on Towns - BRK needs to put in real assets, not fourth and fifth starters. The Wolves in any Towns trade need a pathway to getting a new star. They are to hard to acquire in MIN. This is also why MIN won’t deal Towns with four years left on his deal.
