Golden State gets: Kevin Love

Why?

Cleveland takes a chance on Wiggins and hope he improves.

Golden State goes the safer route with Kevin Love. You know what you're getting with him. This allows the Dubs to focus on Avdija if he's their guy.

Cleveland gets: Gary Harris and Will Barton

Denver gets: Andre Drummond

Why?

Cleveland flips Andre Drummond into a couple good role players.

Denver does this mainly to get out of Harris contract as well as Barton. Drummond is a nice 1 year stop gap as their backup center. They could also send Drummond to a third team if they want to.

In trade 1, both teams need to attach their 2020 1st at least. Love has better impact than Wiggins.

Love has too much off court value to CLE as their loyal soldier when LeBron left - its why he got paid. He’s clearly a negative contract, but he is less negative to the Cavs, so I doubt he gets traded to anyone.
