With Morey being out in Houston, it might be time for the Rockets to hit the re-set button.

Celtics get James Harden

Rockets get Gordon Hayward (opt-in), Romeo Langford, the 14th, 26th, and 30th overall picks, unprotected first round picks in 2022, 2024, and 2026, and the right to swap first round picks in 2023 and 2025

The Celtics go all-in on a squad that should be favorites coming out of the East. Kemba/Harden/Brown/Tatum/Theis with Smart at 6th man looks lethal. If Harden can't get the job done with this team then he probably won't ever.

The Rockets get Hayward's massive expiring contract, a guy who was a first round pick last year, and a whopping 6 first round picks. Plus the two pick swaps, the Rockets are looking at the potential for 8 first round picks from this one transaction.

Think Brown has to be in any deal for Harden or another superstar.

harden/ smart/ brown/ tatum/ theis bring hayward off bench OR move him in another deal for a better big.

I would use Kemba as sixth man. The most paid one in league.

Ainge is way, way too tight to give up six picks. He's of the Larry Bird g. m. school, in that, he almost always has to have the clear advantage in his favor to make a trade.
