Since none of Edwards, Ball, or Wiseman really fit with what Minnesota has, I think they should look to trade the pick, either for an established player(s) or trade back and get future assets.

So, here is an idea:

Detroit gets pick 1, James Johnson, Omari Spellman, and Jacob Evans.

Minnesota gets pick 7, Sekou Doumbouya, and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.

Detroit completely starts over and can take either Ball, Wiseman, or Edwards. They should also look to move Griffin, Rose, Kennard, and Snell for whatever assets they can get.

Minnesota gets a bigger shooting wing in Mykhailiuk and Doumbouya could be the perfect forward next to Towns. They also clear some cap space by trading Johnson. I think they should then draft either Hayes or Haliburton at 7, who would provide an immediate upgrade as a backup PG and can also play with Russell.

Trade makes sense but I’d like the Twolves to draft Vassell at 7

DLo
Vassell
Culver
Doumboya
KAT.

As a Pistons fan, I don’t like the idea of trading Sekou. I’d rather trade draft picks. Sekou is pretty much our only young player with star potential.
