Green is still much loved in Toronto. Davis is going to have to go due to his off-court issues. If Freddy signs elsewhere then Raps will have room for Green's 1 year 15M and won't have to make a deal that carries over into next season to replace FVV for this season.
Green isn't the scorer or ball handler FVV is, but he is still a strong defender who knows Nurse's systems and can be plugged right in.
