I don't get this from Atlanta's POV. Gallinari ($20 mil with $5 mil non-guaranteed next year) + Reddish ($4.7 mil pending RFA next year) for Love ($31.3 mil with $29 mil next years) + a protected first.

Seems like Gallinari + Reddish is better for a playoff team trying to win now than Love + pick.

I know MIN could use an upgrade at PF, but they need someone who pairs with Towns. Rosas said he wants someone who can defend the rim, defend the pick and roll, and rebound. Gallo is good at things MIN is already good at, and is bad at things they are bad at,

Incidentally, I like Beverley on the Wolves. He’s been a 40% spot up three point shooter, and he is a . I’ll use the word “tenacious” … defender. I’d like a little of that defensive intensity to rub off on the young Wolves.
