To NYK - Oubre, Smith, Carey Jr.

Charlotte’s biggest need is rim protection, which is Noel’s specialty. Getting Walker back is not optimal, but gives them more scoring from the bench at the one.

Oubre is not seeing the minutes in Charlotte that he should. A move to NY would allow him to start at the 3 and give the second unit more scoring by moving Fournier to the bench, or making him available for another deal. Smith offers more size at the point, and it’s worth giving Carey a flyer as he’s languishing on the Hornets bench right now.
