Wizards - Johnson and future pick
Blazers - KP

Wizards basically turn Dinwiddie and Bertans into a ton of cap space (if Beal leaves) and a young player/pick. Could be a win imo.

I don’t think I hate it. But I am still incredibly hesitant to go anywhere near KP. But I guess he’s the kind of gamble that Portland should take.

So the Grant-CJ TPE is a tricky thing. It has to be done during this current season as Grant makes more next year than the size of the TPE. If Portland takes on Grant's salary this season, it will push them over the luxury cap by around $6 mil. Seriously doubt that Portland is willing to give up the draft pick AND have to pay a luxury tax this year.

jerami grant's next year salary : 20,955,000

they can do it in the offseason. if they want to do it this year they can send player to detroit to avoid tax.
