I still remember Laker fans saying they were going to trade a 38 year old Steve Nash and a 32 year old Paul Gasol to Minnesota for a 22 year old Ricky Rubio and 24 year old Kevin Love.

Let's try this again. Spurs have 12 players under contract and 3 firsts. Why would they try to create roster spots for Powell and Bertans (and the additional first? ) when the Spurs already let Bertrans go because he was making more than they wanted to pay.
