Why would Denver do this?
Isn't Murray the best player in this trade?
Denver should get a pick, not giving up one.

Everything is great for all teams. However, this is not possible, as Denver's first in 2023 is lottery-protected through 2025, and their 2025 pick is protected top 5 through 2027. This means that the Nuggets have no first-round picks they can trade except for 2029/ 2030.
