R. J. Hampton potentially could be waived or have his contract with the Orlando Magic bought out, league sources told
@orlandosports. The reason is that RJ Hampton along with Terrance Ross and Patrick Beverley are not traveling with the team since the trade deadline.

It'd give R. J. the opportunity to get more consistent playing time/ opportunity elsewhere.

If this is true that is just more of a LOL @ MD who was trying to get first round picks for these "talents".
