Pelicans - Lillard

Blazers - Ingram Daniels and 1st

Lillard
McCollum
Herb
Zion
Valanciunas

- Dame/CJ chemistry duo is great. Now they get MUCH better supporting cast, especially on the wing. Also gets another star in Zion to pair with them

Simons
Sharpe/Reddish
Ingram
Grant
Nurkic

- Blazers go young and still gets a good young player in Ingram. Daniels is a young Swiss Army knife to add much needed defense.

This is the route that both teams should do. Looks beneficial to all parties.

I’d do this for Pels. Murphy can play the 3 and Herb can be the 6th. Draft a wing.

Zion has always been most effective as a ball handler and dames a short guard who wants to pull up from 3 off the dribble out of pick and roll neither is a good defender. You just created the cj Dame backcourt who can't get stops then you got Zion lack of effort on d JV who's just a terrible fit made worse now. Should I keep going or let's throw some household names together randomly?

Isn’t Ingram a ball handler that’s a worse shooter/ scorer than Dame?

Ingram can do other things. but yeah ingram isn't a good fit either that's why the kat deal you suggested was actually beneficial. Size matters and its much harder to squeeze off 3s or shots in general as a shorter player. Therefore dame needs pick and rolls and iso on switches to cook. Kat can be used pick and roll pick and pop spot up mid range when zion posts etc… dame’s still a great player not taking that away from him but team building is complex.
