I like the fit of both players on opposite teams but Holiday being an upcoming FA complicates things. Having Holiday on your team enables you to offer him more money and an additional year but not sure how much teams value this. I'm not sure how interested Pelicans are in Holiday but I think they should try their best to keep him since FA is unlikely to provide any upgrade. I don't see Curry, Paul, Lowry or Hill leaving so that leaves Teague, Rose, Mills, Collison and Jennings. Holiday is younger than all those guys and I think has a higher ceiling (if he could ever regain his pre-injury form back when he was a 22yr old all-star on 76ers) .
I like Okafor to Pelicans and Holiday to 76ers but I think Pelicans should try to keep Holiday and deal some combo of Hield (76ers would probably have to add a little more) and future draft picks.

Would do it if I'm philly but the problem is wolves love Wiggins. I have watched Wiggins play and it's obvious he's a good player. unfortunately so he's proven to not be a generational player as he was advertised out of college. Kids solid but his defense and lack of NBA weight has hurt his upside for me. But for that package it's hard to not take this deal.

NBA weight? He plays sf. not really known as the position you need to bang down low on. unless i'm missing something, 200lb seems quite alright. Giannis is 3 inches taller and 20lbs more. guess that's not NBA weight? he's also 21.

Sorry but I do watch every Wolves game and this kid is going to be special. Does he need the defense to greatly improve, absolutely no question about it. But his weight? Look at a pick as a rookie compared to now. significant maturation. In 2 years mind you.
His 3 point game is greatly improved considering he led the nba for the first month shows he's capable and he's shoots enough a game where it means something. take a look at all the superstars currently, most were given the keys to their franchise just like wiggins but not as many put up the numbers he did as a rookie and sophomore. does have to fill the box score in other ways better too. Also Jimmy Butler wasn't jimmy butler on defense until Thibs got to chicago.

Also, that team isn't a playoff team. Bledsoe is a season ending knee injury waiting to happen. And he also has not led a team to the playoff.
Henderson is a backup guard at this point. Korver is old as balls, terrible defense, and is a one-trick pony, and his one-trick wasn't elite last ear.
Beyond that you have 2 rookie big men. I would absolutely think last years wolves were as good, if not better, than that proposed sixers team. And that wolves team was the 5th worst in the league.
So yeah. not likely.

I would try to get JJ Redick before Korver. 3 years younger and this is his contract year, same as Korver. Now if you had both those guys hanging out behind the arc, it would certainly open up the lane for Jah and Joel to work with Ben. Bayless also had a high 3 pt % last season.

Atlanta says no to Covington, he's to streaky. Korver had a bad year but still managed to shoot 39% from deep. Korver will be much better this year because he'll be healthier.

echoing tre. covington is "streaky" but yet just about at the same 3pt% as korver. The thing is, covington can play d and is FAR younger.
39% doesn't cut it for a player that literally brings nothing else to the table. He had worth solely because he was an elite 3pt shooter, making in the mid to high 40%. This dip just brings him to good, not great, levels. he's getting old, getting even slower, and his one trick is fading. He has rapidly diminishing value.

I was just saying Korver shooting 39% was a down year considering he couldn't do his usual shooting routine last summer due to rehabilitating his knee and elbow injuries. Yes Korver is old but he'll shoot a higher percentage this year with Schroeder and Howard playing the pick and roll game.

Is this in any particular order? I wouldn't necessarily put 76ers as team with most upside since although they may be one of the young teams with the most assets I don't really think they have the clear makings of a team yet. They have some solid looking pieces but none have done much yet and they fit horribly together.
I'd include the Bucks and Jazz to the list too.

Additionally, it depends on your definition of best rookies ever. If you judge based on stats. Sure. Possible. Especially as they will get much time because of being so bad. I judge performance on wins though. And in that they will not. Embiid likely won't play the whole year. Simmons and saric will block each other's minutes. I get it. I actually see decent performances out of embiid and saric. Very good out of Simmons. All time best? Likely not top 10. And I can say that because I actually do get it. I get wins are the factor that determines success. Not stat stuffing because the sixers are fielding a triple a team for another year or two and someone has to get stats. Question is, do people posing questions like this get it? Probably not. And probably still think MCW was the best rookie from his class. So Grizzlies and Schmitz, I ask. Do you get it? Or just groundless trolling. I tend to believe the latter.
