so this is really two separate trades. Sexton + #3 for #1 and a salary dump of Toppin using the 2023 Dallas pick that the Knicks own.
Not so sure about the first one because it is dependent on if Detroit is prepared to pay Sexton big $$$$ and I am not seeing NY using a pick to salary dump Toppin at this point. Even if NY does want to dump Toppin, pick #32 would be more than enough to do it instead of a future first.

I figured Wiggins Is overpaid and Siakam is locked in for a few years so he has a lot of value and can contribute more then any those 4 players. He 6â€9 and athletic he can play sf and can move pf at times or even center. I say over the next 4 years having curry I take Siakam over Wiggins wisemen and those two picks. Lakers got way more for Davis on an expiring deal so this good for Siakam.

Fredman, I think you can make it work, if you have Okoro, Nance, Mobley and Allen around them. Sexton’s play making needs to continue to improve though. He’s going to have to be the back up pg for it to work. He did make strides this year though.

Those aren’t bad contracts there expiring contracts and will have value. They can package those contracts plus other picks and players to get a good player. That’s like only way they can get better and they have no cap to sign anyone to get better. How can you get better for Lowry when they couldn’t even get tucker from the Lakers. So a first is excellent with expiring contracts.
