Not sure Boston would do it, but that's a nice trade for the
Hawks. and I believe they will trade Collins at some point before the deadline.

Not that new but here is my proposal

Brooklyn: James Harden+ PJ Tucker+ Ish Smith
Houston: John Wall, Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, 3 1st round picks via Brooklyn, 2 1st round picks Washington
Washington: Russell Westbrook+ Taurean Prince

Nets add a third superstar and some good role players to replace those who they lost in this trade

Kyrie, Ish Smith
Harden, Shamet, Brown
Durant, Harris, TLC
Tucker, Green, Kurucs
Jordan, Claxton

Houston try not to tank but get some rebuilding pieces if their stars really want out. Get 2 additional picks for taking risk at John Wall but he could be good in their team reuniting him with Cousins. No reason to tank for them since they don't have their own picks

Wall, Dinwiddie, Clemons
Levert, Gordon, Brown
House, Mclemore
Wood, Caboclo
Allen, Cousins

The Wizards get what is rumored Beal wants sacrificing 2 picks but they also get a good piece in Prince

Westbrook, Neto
Beal, Brown, Robinson
Prince, Avdija, Bonga
Hachimura, Bertans
Bryant, Lopez, Wagner

Celtics: Will Barton, 2nd round picks
Nuggets: Marcus Smart

Nuggets get perfect compliment for Murray & Jokic. The toughness that Smart gives would be vital in playing against Western rivals. Boston adds firepower to their bench. Barton is more of a scoring but can also defend decently on that wing.

Note: Also, Boston could do Gary Harris for Marcus Smart & Semi Ojeleye

DestroyThemAll

1.) 23 Nov 2020 23:04:42
Harris couldn’t get smart straight up much less another player added.

2.) 24 Nov 2020 00:48:31
But will Barton do plus picks?

So, BMiller, a big Portland fan. What can you say about this deal right here?

Portland: Covington
Rockets: Ariza, 2020 1st, 2021 protected 1st

finally you have your 3 and D forward but seems like an overpay? no?

DestroyThemAll

1.) 17 Nov 2020 05:11:32
Definitely an overpay, but it was the cost because he was going to be a target by a lot of teams. I’m really happy with the move.

If they can get a good pickup for their MLE (Gallinari, Ibaka), that’s a good starting 5 with a solid bench.

2.) 17 Nov 2020 05:20:28
Two firsts seems like an overpay imo.

3.) 17 Nov 2020 12:18:01
Like we said, it's a seller's market this year. Almost every trade so far has been an overpay, but if you want a player, that's the price. What is surprising me is how the small market teams are overpaying. It's much more difficult to attract talent to a small market team; therefore, they should be much more cautious about trading multiple picks.

4.) 17 Nov 2020 12:18:26
Idk what the Rockets' direction is.

5.) 17 Nov 2020 14:54:08
I agree with that in theory postal, but if you already have the superstar and that pick won’t be high, you can be much more open to moving picks.

6.) 17 Nov 2020 16:34:10
If it helps them win a championship and keep Giannis then its not an overpay.

7.) 17 Nov 2020 19:59:07
I don't think it's an overpay at all. The best the Rockets can hope for is this year's #16 and next year's #15 picks (lottery protections are great), plus an aging Ariza. The Blazers got a better defender, with roughly the same offensive output at a lower salary who is 6 yrs younger. It was as fair a deal as I've seen for quite some time.

Giannis should sign an extension and stay with the Bucks. They are just right there always ready to compete. He should follow Dirk Nowitzki's Dallas tenure and cement his legacy with one sweet championship (even more for him).

DestroyThemAll

1.) 23 Nov 2020 21:30:12
Even if he doesn’t win a championship in Milwaukee, he’s not like his career is over after his next contract. A 4 year extension puts him at 30. He’s still have a couple years left of his prime before much/ any decline.

2.) 24 Nov 2020 00:43:48
He makes just as much signing next summer as this week. No agent would tell a guy not to wait.

3.) 24 Nov 2020 03:20:25
He has to leave because people go to Dallas not the bucks.

4.) 24 Nov 2020 18:30:20
Wall’s agent might tell him not to wait.

If it’s the same either way, a good agent probably doesn’t push him either way.

Are the Raptors a top 4 team in the east? Can they hang with this new and improved eastern conference?

Look how the east went this offseason

Nets: KD & Kyrie coming back. If throughout the year they stay healthy, even at 80% of what they were, I believe they are definitely a top4 team

Bucks: Always right there as long as Giannis is in town. I can't say if they really improved from last year but definitely Holiday gives them some more kick than Bledsoe

Sixers: The dysfunction slightly improved. They add shooters and Simmons/Embiid will benefit from this. Not sure but they are right there

Heat: They are the defending eastern champs, hard to took them out of the conversation. They essentially kept their core

Celtics: Teague and Thompson could be an underrated signings. Those two gives them more experience on that roster

Pacers and Hawks are also right there. Raptors still have their trio of Lowry-VanVleet-Siakam but i'm a little concerned about their supporting cast with the departure of their veteran bigs.

1.) 23 Nov 2020 05:17:52
Injuries will tell.

2.) 23 Nov 2020 11:37:40
Why not? We have defense: they key ingredient that many of the teams lack.

3.) 23 Nov 2020 11:49:16
Don’t have a big at all.

4.) 23 Nov 2020 12:21:25
Well they have Baynes and Boucher. Need a big leap from them.

5.) 23 Nov 2020 12:56:54
raptors still have parts to make another move, and some dollars left to spend if the right deal comes along, but this year was always going to take a back seat to free agency next year.
they've probably fallen out of the top four right now but are well positioned for the future.
don't be surprised to see them package powell, johnson and davis for a worthwhile piece on an expiring contract, but ultimately the development of OG and Boucher will be the most important factors for this season.

6.) 23 Nov 2020 17:13:53
They’re in the hunt for a top 4 seed. I wouldn’t guarantee it, but no one should be surprised if they get any seed 1-6.

The East is going to be really competitive. It should be fun.

17 Nov 2020 05:37:09
Looks like the Kings will not trade Buddy Hield after letting Bogdanovic go to Milwaukee in a sign and trade.

Hmmmmm. Who has been saying that for months now? I don't seem to remember.

Me neither.

Wow, dominoes are falling. Holiday just traded to Bucks

I'm thinking Presti's going to make Green's, Rubio's & Oubre's value go higher by midseason before pulling another beneficial deal at the deadline. Possible?

Ok. Knicks would rather take Culver and happily give Wolves 2 2nds. Heck, even the Mavs 1st.

JJJ, Brooks + matching contracts and at least 3 picks would be the least Houston would want. Of course, Ja is not available.

You need to atleast give Cavs a major asset if they are taking Wall.
