How is that horrible for the Jazz? They replace Gobert with a defensive center who can space the floor and they get a shooter to pair with Mitchell. Mitchell, Hield and Bogdanovic will be an offensive dynamite. Not to mention Conley is underperforming in Utah. It’s a risk for the Pacers though.

What should the Wizards do with Bradley Beal? They will sit in mediocrity with only Beal as their best guy and nothing to build on. I think they definitely trade him for the best deal they can but most teams with big assets will not be willing to sacrifice them all for 2 years of Beal unless they can convince him to stay long term. Some of the teams that can hold on to Beal and be competitive are Miami, Milwaukee, Clippers, Nuggets, maybe Lakers but what are these teams offering that may entice the Wizards. I think it will be hard for the Wiz to fetch a king's ransom offer for Beal.

Curry is a pretty average defender. Beal definitely isn’t horrible. Do they really need to hide either of them?
Yeah, Klay might struggle guarding Lebron and Durant. But not sure there’s too many guys that would really take advantage of him. He’s 6’7, he’s a huge SG or a average size SF.

Washington is also an absolute dumpster fire of a roster around Beal. He’s the entire offense, and has no one around him to bail him out defensively.
I don’t see a horrible defender when I watch him. I see an overtaxed guy knowing that he can’t win.
