Bos-Chi-Uta
Bos send Amir Johnson and 1st round pick. Recieve Robin Lopez
Thomas-Bradley-Crowder-Horford-Lopez
Chi sends Lopez and 1st round pick.
Recieve Derrick Favors
Rondo-Wade-Butler-Mirotic-Favors
Utah trades Derrick Favors
Recieve Amir Johnson (cut) 2 1sts
Hill-Hood-Hayward-Lyles-Gobert.
1.) 31 Jul 2016 20:40:20
The valuation of the trade can vary significantly depending on which 1sts those are but in general so long as Celtics aren't giving up a brooklyn pick I like it for them, I'm not sure what picks Bulls have but if its their own they're getting a steal. The Jazz aren't getting a bad return on Favors but for a team that is looking to turn the corner I don't think they want to give up a young starter for two 1sts even if he isn't the greatest fit alongside Gobert.
If you could find another team to take on the draft picks and give Jazz back a quality player I could see it happening (i. e. send them to Nuggets for Gallinari and Arthur or something) .
Or maybe Bulls give Mirotic or Portis up instead of their 1st so Jazz get a contributor in addition to a draft pick.
2.) 31 Jul 2016 23:43:44
Only if this isn't the Nets pick.
3.) 01 Aug 2016 23:32:38
A. Johnson is better suited for Boston than R. Lopez is.
26 Jun 2016 22:21:06
Stole this trade from NBA16
Chi-Mil
Robin Lopez, Dunleavy and pick for Monroe and MCW.
Robin Lopez could provide that defensive edge that could allow parker to flourish as an undersized 4. Dunleavy adds shooting and veteran leadership.
Bulls get a big who can score and grab rebounds, and a former rookie of the year in MCW.
1.) 26 Jun 2016 22:41:20
Bulls pass. We want shooting, and Monroes contract is a burden.
2.) 27 Jun 2016 00:03:33
I think Chicago could try this, if they keep Butler
Monroe is not that bad. He's a great scorer.
3.) 27 Jun 2016 00:29:51
No way Bulls do this.
4.) 27 Jun 2016 01:09:19
I think it makes sense for the two sides. Lopez would be a great fit for Milwaukee and Bulls get a good young double double threat in Monroe while also getting a young pg whose stock may be down but I think he is better then anybody they have. Monroes contract isn't that much worse than Lopez and he has opt out clause next summer if things don't workout there and they get out with minimal damage. Also don't see Bulls putting that cap space to much better work and with cap space rise equal talent will be expensive.
5.) 27 Jun 2016 01:16:35
Dunleavy is not going to fit with bucks and bucks have 2 centers similar to Lopez of I'm bucks I trade for a pick.
6.) 27 Jun 2016 01:51:47
The Bulls desperately need rim protection to play Mirotic at PF, which they need to do for Hoiberg's system. Monroe offers none. We say NAH.
18 Jun 2016 13:55:26
Chicago's 14th pick for Kings Cauley-Stein.
1.) 18 Jun 2016 16:17:02
Cayley Stein is worth more. He'd probably be a top ten pick if he was in this draft, so 14 isn't enough.
2.) 18 Jun 2016 16:18:37
Add mirotic or gibson and snell.
16 Apr 2016 13:12:56
Bulls Offseason V.2
• Embrace the youth
• Find Hoiberg/ Bulls identity
• Establish Butler as "the man"
Let Gasol, Noah and Brooks go.
Trade Gibson, Dunleavy, Bulls 2017 1st and other pick fot Utah's Derrick Favors.
Sign Dj Augustine, Bazemore, T. Jones and maybe re-sign Noah as insurance in case Favors can't play 82 games.
Rose/ Augustine/ "16 draft pick
Mcdermott/ Bazemore (6th man) / Moore
Butler/ Bazemore/ Snell
Mirotic/ Jones/ Felicio
Favors/ Noah/ Bairstow
At least it brings in some youth if anything.
If rose can get anything above 7 assits in this team you re-sign him at season's end for a reasonable amount or go after John Wall when he becomes a free agent.
7th seed at best.
1.) 16 Apr 2016 13:39:22
And the Jazz do that trade why?
2.) 16 Apr 2016 14:43:37
Not enough for jazz to do that.
3.) 16 Apr 2016 15:24:13
1) Butler is not "the man" if the bulls want to go back to the finals (a really nice number 2 though)
2) Mcdermott is no starter
3) Jazz say no
4) Where is portis?
5) This squad is a guaranteed 6th seed with at best a second round exit. i'd rather blow it up or go for it, hard to rebuild a team with draft picks in the mid 20's.
4.) 16 Apr 2016 18:42:29
Bazemore will make 8 figures and will be ahead McDermott. Let Noah go than Resign him. Which is it?
5.) 17 Apr 2016 03:50:17
"Embrace the youth" and doesn't put portis in the lineup lol.
6.) 17 Apr 2016 22:58:22
I guess for the picks but they could get better picks then those for favors thinking he going to leave.
7.) 18 Apr 2016 01:18:23
How about rose, pick 14 and 2018 top 3 protected, portis for favors since Utah would have allot of Cap.
Rose/ exum
Heyward/ burks
Hood
Portis
Gobert
Then bulls can go after rondo best pg on market and bazemore. Resign Noah one year mle and let go
Rondo/ Augustine
Butler/ dunleavy
Bazmore/ mcdermott
Favors/ mirotic
Noah/ Gibson.
8.) 18 Apr 2016 15:33:33
1) Jazz aren't trading him (& Bulls are overpaying. badly. )
2) You just made the Bulls content for last in def efficiency.
3) Where did our most prominent youth (in my opinion), being Portis, go?
9.) 19 Apr 2016 00:09:52
No trades posted for a couple of days - wonder what's up.
16 Apr 2016 11:19:32
Bulls offseason
Sign Kevin Durant 2yr $45m w/ player option
Re-sign Gasol, Noah and moore to 2 yr contracts each, pay whatever tax that comes and go for it all next season. If it ends up in failure guys like KD, Rose, Pau and Noah walk and you go all out for 2017's free agent class.
Next season roster
Rose/ Moore/ Draft pick
Butler/ Dunleavy/ Snell
Durant/ Mcdermott
Gibson/ Mirotic/ Felicio
Gasol/ Noah/ Bairstow.
1.) 16 Apr 2016 11:45:47
Why would Durant go to that unsure roster with health problems. Boston is a better destination if he wants to leave. I'm saying he'll go there but i feel he has a better chance going to Boston or staying in Okc.
2.) 16 Apr 2016 12:38:57
The Bulls need to pull a rabbit out of the hat more than the C's do. I like Boston's ball movement and style of play.
They could get to next years ECF with one or two "small" additions.
Chicago on the other hand HAVE to go after a 25+ ppg gunner. Rose and Noah will never be their former selves, Gasol will eventually show his age and Hoiberg is too inexperienced.
Yeah, i just convinced myself too. Durant is not going to the Bulls.
3.) 16 Apr 2016 15:26:23
The best two FA gar and pax have gotten in the last 7 years are Pau Gasol and Carlos Boozer. That alone should be enough to tell you its not going to happen.
4.) 16 Apr 2016 18:45:59
You are at cap max without Durant. Bulls could not afford any major FAs.
5.) 18 Apr 2016 15:34:26
First issue: Salary cap.

Bulls "Re-Tool"
Chi-Sac
Mirotic and Dunleavy for Rudy Gay
Sign B. Jennings to 2 year contract with a player option.
Jennings/ Grant/ Calderon
Butler/ Snell/ Rookie
Gay/ Mcdermott/ Valentine
Gibson/ Portis/ Vet min
Lopez/ Mahimni/ Felicio
Find cheap short term contracts to strengthen 2nd unit.
7th or 8th seed.
1.) 28 Jun 2016 01:16:37
That would be a fairly solid Bulls team. Gay would be a good pickup and secondary scorer for the Bulls. Kings have been trying to deal Gay. It would make sense for Kings since despite having a boatload of centers they have a hole at pf (Labissiere isn't ready to start although I guess they could slide Cousins to pf) . Mirotic would be a good stretch 4 (could also play some sf) that is still relatively young and trade would free up a couple million for the Kings to try and attract somebody in free agency. I forgot about Casspi who they were playing at the 4 but Mirotic I think is better and Casspi could play more sf.
23 Jun 2016 11:38:44
Bulls have to sign Luol Deng now. Give him a 2yr 25mill w/ player option.
Grant/ Calderon
Butler/ Dunleavy/ Snell
Deng/ Mcdermott
Mirotic/ Gibson
Lopez/ Portis
8th seed at best.
1.) 23 Jun 2016 15:07:04
They need to get a point.
14 Jan 2017 14:56:03
Porter is much more vuluable than Okafor in this current climate. Philly fans should stop bugging

01 Mar 2016 21:00:30
Irving would thrive in that enviroment. Would not lead them to glory but would get lots and lots of buckets.
03 Feb 2016 08:20:10
Are the Rockets not trying to get Anderson so he can spread the floor a little for Howard?
31 Jan 2016 07:37:51
Dude you being silly. Z-Bo at centre? Bulls do this because?
20 Jan 2016 09:20:12
John Wall deserves to be there ahead of Irving too.
04 Jan 2016 06:34:15
Thats why i said "probably" when it comes to Embiid, we have not seem him in the NBA but you can not deny the potential.
Am with you on Grant Hill. can't say i feel "sorry" for Larry Legend, the man is considerd one of the top 10 players of all time. Would he have elevated his game even further after his 13th or 14th season?
What about Jay Williams? Do you feel for him and his bike accident? Could he have been the Bulls answer to "The Answer"? The dude could flat out score in college, would he have become a legit NBA point guard?
03 Jan 2016 18:40:18
Rose, Danny Granger, Oden, Roy and you can probably add that kid Embiid to the list.
09 Jul 2015 21:50:50
Yeah, that seems like it could work.
25 Jun 2015 17:48:57
All that to finish dead last with that team?
