Thunder - Timberwolves

Thunder gets:
Teague (expiring)
2020 1st rd pick (lottery protected)

Timberwolves gets:

1.) 15 Jul 2019 23:57:17
Paul and Wiggins are some of the worst contracts in the NBA, but I see no reason for MIN to trade for Paul. He doesn’t fit their win-later direction, their age, or their attempt to make this Towns team. After the Jimmy Butler fiasco, MIN would probably rather keep KAT’s mellow buddy Wiggins than bring in Paul.

Thunder - Timberwolves

Thunder gets:
Napier (expiring)
Graham (expiring)

Timberwolves gets:

1.) 12 Jul 2019 11:22:03
The value is fair, but I wouldn’t want to bring Wiggins into a rebuild. That seems like a no win situation for both sides.

2.) 12 Jul 2019 12:18:58
Rkeene- no pressure in okc Wiggins might shine as number one option.

11 Jul 2019 23:36:56
Rockets - Thunder

Rockets gets:
2020 2nd rd pick
2021 2nd rd pick

Thunder gets:
2021 1st rd pick (top 4 protected)
2023 1st rd pick (top 10 protected)
2025 1st rd pick (lottery protected)

Bulls - Rockets - Thunder

Bulls gets:
Patterson (expiring)
2020 1st Rockets (lottery protected)

Rockets gets:
Porter Jr.

Thunder gets:
Gordon (expiring)
2022 1st Rockets (unprotected)
2023 swap rights Rockets
2024 1st Rockets (top 10 protected)

Bulls take on Paul to mentor White and gets a first for the contract.

Rockets go all-in and have a starting 5 in Russ/Harden/Porter Jr/Tucker/Capela.

Thunder save money and get picks for the future.

1.) 11 Jul 2019 22:30:42
I doubt the Bulls would touch Chris Paul, but if they would they would need more than 1 late first.

11 Jul 2019 11:47:29
Pistons - Thunder - Timberwolves

Pistons gets:

Thunder gets:
2020 1st Timberwolves (lottery protected)
2021 1st Pistons (unprotected)
2023 1st Pistons (lottery protected)

Timberwolves gets:
Jackson (expiring)
Whitehead (expiring)

Pistons gets a star that will get attendance up in their new arena.

Thunder gets more picks for the future and can go full rebuild.

Timberwolves move Diengs contract and only lose their pick if they make the playoffs.

Knicks should trade all their young players, the Mavs picks and their own first round picks for Zion.

Smith Jr.
2020 1st Knicks
2021 1st Dallas
2022 1st Knicks
2023 1st Dallas
2024 1st Knicks

Is this enough? Otherwise take the 2026 1st as well.

Magic - Thunder

Magic gets:
Anthony (Buyout)
Singler (expiring)
53rd pick
57th pick
2020 2nd rd pick

Thunder gets:

Magic take on one year of salary to chase free agents in 2019, while Thunder move on from Melo and gets som depth.

1.) 24 May 2018 00:10:10
I don't think Melo let's it happen.

2.) 24 May 2018 03:18:35
Melo trade clause, magic losing 2 players with value for some 2nd rounders is unlikely.

3.) 24 May 2018 11:04:31
Thunder will have to cough up more than that to get rid of Anthony, and it's a pipe dream to think that he'll agree to go to a 25-win team next season.

22 May 2018 21:35:53
Knicks - Trail Blazers

Knicks gets:
24th pick

Trail Blazers gets:

03 May 2018 21:21:29
Kings - Thunder

Kings gets:
Anthony (Buyout)
2019 2nd rd pick

Thunder gets:

Crucial miss from the refs on the George three pointer. Even Utahs coach saw it was a foul and put his hands behind his head when Gobert bumped George. Also change the earlier foul from three from free throws to a side out of bounds, even though he already started his shooting motion.

Refs miss calls but you can't miss that one with the season on the line. Thunder thought hard against a great jazz team but didn't get the opportunity to force a game 7.

1.) 28 Apr 2018 13:01:30
Thunder cooked their own goose when they miscalculated on Anthony. Now they're stuck with him and his $28 million millstone salary. He's so bad and disinterested on defense that they can't even play him in fourth quarters when games are tight. Going to be a bad off-season in OKC when George walks and the team has to shed decent players to pay Anthony -- and even doing that might not keep them under the repeated luxury tax. Turns out Kanter, McDermott and a second was a huge overpay by OKC.

2.) 28 Apr 2018 14:31:46
Honestly, I hate that play and I’m glad they didn’t call the foul. George jumped sideways into Gobert. I know it’s the standard call, but the rules need to be changed to make that an offensive foul. You can’t jump into someone and get a foul on them.

Also, if George actually tries to make the shot (he 100% had no intention of making it, just getting the foul) maybe he makes the shot, gets the and 1, and wins the game.

3.) 28 Apr 2018 15:46:20
I honestly believe that Harden, Durant, Curry etc. would have gotten that call. The Anthony trade wasn’t an overpay because neither Kanter or McDermmot can play defense in the playoffs either.

4.) 28 Apr 2018 16:55:19
I’m sure they do, and I’m sure if my team had that situation I’d be pissed. But from a mostly unbiased view (I do hate Westbrook, so there is that) it was a very borderline call. And that specific call is a pet peeve of mine that I really would like the NBA to change. Just like the rip through move a few years ago.

5.) 28 Apr 2018 22:41:49
When the talk was Melo was a chance to go to Boston I was stressing out fortunately it had no substance. Melos game has dropped off so bad it’s hard to watch him like that maybe Phil Jackson saw what he had become.

6.) 28 Apr 2018 23:35:47
Thunder really just aren't a good team. Westbrook is too selfish and not a good enough shooter, Adams is solid but can't stretch the floor, PG is inconsistent and probably leaving now, and Melo going to Melo. They don't have a solid bench either.

Miami are hard caped and can’t take on more salaries than they give up.

The 9th pick doesn’t have much value. People on this site don’t understand that this is a three player draft and the rest are late first rounders in a ordinary draft. Watch the trades on draft night.

They can afford to sign and trade for Russell and keep Oubres cap hold.

No all-star in that package.

The 5th pick is not that valuable and Adams contract is much better than Love’s both in years and salary. Taking on Love and Thompson while moving up 16 spots in the draft, giving up a young starter in Ferguson, two 2nd round picks, and two players that would start for the Cavs.
