Trade packages for dame (not saying these would go through)
1)heat: bam adebayo, herro, kz okpala, precious achiuwa and 2 first round picks (have to lift the protection on the pick in okc to move those 2 picks)
2)knicks: quickley, barrett, knox, robinson, toppin, 2 dallas first round picks and 3 knicks first
3)sixers: simmons, milton, (I believe they have a trade exception to help accept lillards contract) and 3 first round picks
4)lakers: anthony davis, tht (sign and trade)

IDK if Blazers would want AD if trading Lillard. AD is too injury prone to consistent be a one option and carry a team.

The hornets will have around 20-25 mil in cap space to accept there salaries without sending back a player

CBA 101. In order to create this $20-$25 mil in cap space, Charlotte has to waive the cap holds on Graham, Monk, Zeller and Biyombo. Without the cap holds, Chatlotte wull not be able to go over the salary cap to resign these players unless the sign minimum deals.
So does is it worth acquiring one of these 2 centers at the cost of being able to resign anyone of the other 4? Perhaps it would be smarter to go after Holmes, Noel or Kanter at be able to resign Graham and perhaps Monk? Just a thought.

@Matrix. Yea, Holmes appears to be a FA that many teams are after which MAY drive up his asking price. I also think there is a lot of misinformation being put out by other GMs to scare teams away (GM poll has Holmes getting 4yrs/ $80 mil deal) . Holmes has repeatedly said that he is very interested in resigning with Sacramento who can only offer him around $10 mil in the first year.
Also forgot to add Drummond into that list of FA centers that Charlotte may be able to sign "cheaper" than what getting Turner or Adams will cost in draft capital and Charlotte's own FAs.

Drummond is over rated, if i'm bein honest i consider him a slightly better hassan whiteside which means pretty bad. Drummond has like no impact because if he did then the cavs and pistons woulda exceeded with him.

Sacramento would do it because they desperate plus bagley has no value and move hield to make money work and use his value. Maybe okc throws in a second but that's it. Bagley has no value because he injury prone and no defense so if he ain't playin he trash.

Frank is a free agent and i think enes kanter maybe as well, also i don't know if kawhi would sign with the knicks. I get it that its the knicks and stuff but he's always wanted to be in Los angeles. Now the clippers are down currently in the mavs series so let's say they lose round 1 and kawhi explores other teams. The heat could sign him if they don't extend qualifying offers and renounce rights on like everybody but they just came off a disappointing season. The warriors could do a sign and trade but i don't think the clippers would take wiggins so is there really a third team that will take his contract. So ultimately idk where kawhi signs especially if they lose to the mavs.
