Utah-Bos

Utah trades: Hayward (s&t) Exum, 2020 1st round pick

Boston trades: Crowder, Rozier, 2019 Clippers pick.

I'm not sure what motivation Utah would have to trade away a pick of exum in a s and t even if that was legal to do which it's not.

2.) 06 Jul 2017 16:56:31
I don't think Jazz would be allowed to give up anything more than Hayward in a sign and trade . For something like this to work Celtics would trade Crowder, Rozier and 2019 Clippers pick for Exum and 2020 first and then just sign Hayward outright. Although that isn't a terrible offer I think Celtics could find a better one elsewhere that would at least net them a big man that they could really use.

Celtics off season

Release/cut/dont sign
=Zeller,Green, Olynyk, Johnson

Sign Gordon Hayward

Trade (after signing)

Indy:Paul George (With extension as reported by Adam Kauffman)

Boston: Bradley, Crowder, Mickey, Jackson, 2018/19 La/Kings 1st rounder, 2018 Boston 1st (top 3 protected) 2019 La Clippers 1st, 2018 2nd rounder, 2019 2nd rounder, 2020 2nd rounder.

C's Starting lineup (with overseas players coming over.

Pg-Thomas/Rozier/ Allen
Sg-Hayward/Smart/Nader
Sf-Brown/Tatum/Ojeleye
PF- George/Yabusele
C-Horford/Zizic

Why?

Boston gets the super team to push Cleveland and maybe challenge the Warriors. They cash in most of their assets but, they keep the 2018 Brooklyn pick and they are both very young and are able to contend for a long time.

Indy who doesn't have much leverage gets a great haul. 3 1st round picks, 3 2nd round picks, Two low prospects, Crowder who has an amazing contract and Bradley all nba defender. Perfect rebuild starter.

I don't hate that trade for the Celtics. I'm still not sure how a Hayward/ George addition works, as they really would need another big man. You have a solid team at that point, but I think they need a true center on the roster in addition to Zizic, or at least a starting caliber PF. They could probably pull someone in on the cheap if they had that team put together though.

IT/ Smart/ Rozier
George/ Brown
Hayward/ Tatum/ Ojeleye/ Nader
Horford/ Yabusele
F/ A C or PF/ Zizic

That's a really young bench, and I'm not sure exactly what to make of it, but it is also one that gives you five or six guys who can play two or more positions. Stevens does love that versatility.

That sounds good to me too, maybr Bogut on a veterans minimum?

3.) 26 Jun 2017 16:21:02
Bogut, when healthy, is exactly what the Celtics needed this year. He's likely what they need next year as well, but I have a feeling he stays in Cleveland. If he wanted to play in Boston, he would have done that post buy out this season.

Boston - Detroit
Wierd tweeting inspired this

Detroit-Drummond

Boston-Crowder-Johnson-Rozier-2017 Minny 2nd-2018 Brooklyn 1st-2018 Detroit 2nd

More small pieces may need to be added. But overall both teams would be happy with this

Boston keeps 2017 1st and other than Crowder (and apparently they love Rozier) they are able to keep assets.

Detroit gets way more than sactown got for cousins a great player in Crowder (plus only 7 million a year for next 3) as well as a unprotected Nets pick an expiring contract and then prospects and 2nds for sweeteners.

You could also swap Bradley in for Crowder. Also maybe throw in the 2019 Clippers 1st.

2.) 21 Feb 2017 19:46:33
I don't think crowder would even need to be involved. Maybe the pick.

3.) 21 Feb 2017 20:52:31
I think if we trade Crowder it leaves us with a bigger hole to fill then we already have. We would more so be letting Brown be our starting small forward with no clear backup. And if this team is trying to make noise in the playoffs and try to compete we will need a better small forward that can guard Lebron.

I like the idea of getting Drummond but like SimmonsOrBust said I think we could potential get him without giving up Crowder or Bradley.

4.) 22 Feb 2017 00:05:14
I like Crowder in Detroit a lot. Send Morris to Boston so they have a starting sf while Brown developes. Morris does alright against LBJ too so there's that.

Indy-Boston

Indy-PG

Boston- Bradley, Rozier, Young, Green, 2017 Brooklyn, 2018 Brooklyn, 2019 Lottery Celtic's, 2019 Clippers 1st. And throw in 3 2nds rounds in consecutive years.

Why

Boston finally gets their superstar

Indy hit the quick rebuild button. Gets 4 1st round picks in 3 years as well as a 1st team all nba D player who avg 17-7.. and a few prospects.

1.) 18 Feb 2017 01:13:01
I think Boston is over paying a bit. Crowder instead of Bradley and one less Brooklyn pick would probably do it. Boston would probably be smart to try to keep Crowder and Bradley though and try to get a deal done with their picks and young players.

2.) 18 Feb 2017 01:30:15
So Indy gets 12 bodies?
Maybe the Celtics should add Brad Stevens.

3.) 18 Feb 2017 02:40:06
Take the second round pick and this a good trade.

4.) 18 Feb 2017 02:46:11
That's way too much. This would be the all-time Godfather offer. BOS could probably get PG for about 60% of that, which btw would still be a ton.

5.) 18 Feb 2017 03:04:23
To many Picks for Boston to give up, Boston would rather give more players and keep the 18 Brkln and their own 19 pic and just 1 maybe 2 second rounder's, depending on who the other players are.

6.) 18 Feb 2017 03:25:39
Boston overpay largely. Surely those top 3 picks on 17' and 18' will be better than pg13. Also there's no reason why Indiana should rebuild, pg is his prime, turner will become a top 5 stretch centre and they has nice assets (Teague, Robinson young)

Add a Brooklyn pick and a 1st from the C's and you might have a deal

Triangle O I 1/ 2 agree with you Olynyk and two none Brooklyn first won't get you love for sure. but Olynyk is not as bad as you say and the C's are a top 10 team. as well as love would prolly be the 3rd best player behind Thomas and Horford
