Pacers get TT and 2nd rd

Celtics get Turner.

biggie

1.) 07 Jul 2021 03:37:27
This isn't even ringring funny.

2.) 07 Jul 2021 07:52:49
No reason for the Pacers to do this.

3.) 07 Jul 2021 13:08:15
Some of you won't believe this, but Boston says no.

4.) 07 Jul 2021 13:28:41
If Boston says no, Stevens should be fired.

What justification is there for saying no to a talent improvement that’s that huge?

5.) 07 Jul 2021 16:20:44
First off, you guys vastly overrate Turner. I know you like that he shoots threes, but so does whoever he's playing against. Boston could have had him last year. It's been reported that they considered him just to flip him, but he doesn't have a lot of interest around the league. That makes sense considering that he still plays for Indiana. Robert Williams, if healthy, is Boston's center of the future and he is a much more impactful player. They also have Moses Brown locked up for minimal money, and they now have Al Horford. Beyond that, they are going for financial flexibility. They may salary dump Thompson, but it doesn't matter what the trade for Turner. They don't want that player, at that position, for that money. It's not happening.

6.) 07 Jul 2021 18:53:26
True Boston could have had him, Ainge didn't want him. There's a new Sheriff in town and Turner could be dealt later if things didn't work out. Can Williams stay healthy is the real question, remains to be seen. If Turner could be had for Thompson and a second you do it. TPE would be used to make the numbers work. Celtics don't want or need that 2nd rd pick.

7.) 07 Jul 2021 22:39:31
They don't want that salary. I believe they're looking to sign Beal as a FA next offseason.

8.) 07 Jul 2021 23:29:16
And no TPE they have fits Turner.

9.) 08 Jul 2021 17:20:38
Nightcap, So are you saying using TT's 9.7 mil contract and Haywards remaining TPE can't cover Turners contract for next year, as long s the trade is made prior to the upcoming season? The remainder of Turners contract falls into Bostons salary cap for the following year. Outside of Haywards TPE I believe there are 3 other TPE's for roughly 12-13 mil.

10.) 08 Jul 2021 19:16:31
No, the entirety of a player's salary has to fit into 1 TPE. So this trade is not even possible as it is constructed anyway.

06 Jul 2021 06:28:22
Atlanta gets TT, Smart and 2nd rd pick

Boston gets Bogdanovic and Huerter.

biggie

1.) 06 Jul 2021 07:49:47
Atlanta declines after seeing how those 2 help them in the playoffs. Smart is an interesting acquisition but not at the price of losing 2 shooters.

2.) 06 Jul 2021 10:48:22
Boston can't even get one of those let alone two.

3.) 06 Jul 2021 14:31:42
I think Boston could easily get one of them but then who starts at the point?

4.) 06 Jul 2021 15:16:54
I think they try the Israeli whom they are having in the summer league or even Pritchett. All he needs to do is be a playmaker, he played 4yrs college ball and seems to be a decent PG.

05 Jul 2021 00:35:33
Chicago gets
Smart
TT
Langford
G Williams
C Edwards

Boston gets
LaVine
Satoransky.

biggie

1.) 05 Jul 2021 04:57:22
Chicago should be able to get much more for Lavine, who isn't what Boston needs anyway. Sato is a realistic target though.

2.) 05 Jul 2021 04:58:56
Chicago does not get smarter with that deal.

3.) 05 Jul 2021 15:50:42
Outside of Boston giving a draft pick I'm not so sure Bulls could get more. They couldn't get draft capital or what they wanted at the TD.

Chicago was in the bottom third in the league. TT, Smart and Langford with Vuc would be an upgrade over what the Bulls put out on the floor last season.

13 Jun 2021 01:27:43
Memphis gets TT, G Williams, Smart, G Williams, Langfor, 21 1st, 2 future 2nd round picks

Boston gets Jonas V and J Morant.

biggie

1.) 13 Jun 2021 02:49:00
Typo on G Williams #2. Carson Edwards.

2.) 13 Jun 2021 02:54:58
So you're trying to offend NBA16.

3.) 13 Jun 2021 04:16:02
LOL! If he's offended he'll get over it.

4.) 13 Jun 2021 11:14:10
If you're getting those 2, Brown has to be in the equation. No way you're getting Morant otherwise, if at all. Lol
Take something out and take Valancuinas.

08 May 2021 18:01:19
Spurs get Smart, Langford and 2nd rd

Celtics get Demar (S&T)

biggie

1.) 08 May 2021 18:30:26
Lmao desperate Celtics fan.

2.) 08 May 2021 19:58:07
Boston isn't going to do that, not because it's not good value, but because of financial reasons and more pressing needs.

3.) 09 May 2021 01:03:35
DeRozen is going to sign with Boston to be a third/ fourth wheel?

4.) 09 May 2021 14:29:10
Why not? You trying to say that all teams don't have a third/ fourth wheel? He'd fit in nicely with Boston.

5.) 10 May 2021 11:12:43
Fredman, why wouldn't he mind being a 3rd or 4th wheel, on a team that could win a title?
Not necessarily Boston, but aging veterans do things like that when they are chasing a ring. ALA Harden and many others before him. Westbrook could do the same. He's the guy i wouldn't mind in Boston.

6.) 11 May 2021 23:01:15
Russ in Boston would be interesting for sure.

17 Jul 2021 21:32:33
Just read that Yam Madar will be with the Celtics this coming season. Did Boston buy out his contract from Hapoil Tel Aviv?

Does this mean they'll move Pritchard and Thompson as a package for a big wing and keep Smart?

biggie

1.) 18 Jul 2021 11:45:52
Madar is going to participate in summer league but he needs to be bought out to play for Boston this year. It could happen but I don't think it affects their other moves much. The plan appears to be to pick up a veteran backup PG and start Smart and Brown in the backup. The veteran PG, Pritchard, Nesmith, and potentially Madar would all be backups. They have plenty of centers so Thompson is expendable. You have Tatum but who's the other starting forward? It could be Langford or Horford but I don't think that's the best way to go. People keep saying I'm crazy for saying forward is their biggest need instead of center or PG but that's just how I see it. Fournier should be brought back for bench scoring. I want Miles Bridges who's extension eligible and currently a backup. Maybe they could get him for Langford, G. Williams, and a 1st? I'd give more.

R. Williams/ M. Brown/ Kornet
Tatum/ Horford/ Ojeleye
Bridges/ Fournier
Brown/ Nesmith
Smart/ Veteran/ Pritchard

Of course Horford would play some center as well. I don't know but I think that's a pretty good team.

2.) 18 Jul 2021 13:51:09
I don't see them re-signing Fournier, especially for a bench player @15-20 million.

The report I read yesterday said he will be playing with Celtics this season. This is why I'm asking if he was bought out or this is another BS story.

3.) 18 Jul 2021 15:05:19
So far summer league is confirmed but the rest depends on a buy out. As far as Fournier, it depends on if they're looking to sign a max free agent (Beal) after the season. What they do with him will tell us a lot about their plans. If they're not looking to open a max slot, they should sign him since they can't replace him.

17 Jul 2021 17:42:48
Will Brooklyn continue to play Russian Roulette or will they breakup Moe, Larry and Curly?

biggie

05 Jul 2021 16:12:54
Do the Bucks need the Greek freak to beat the Suns?

With Gianni's out Bucks played better, Holliday and Middleton played much better.

biggie

1.) 05 Jul 2021 18:29:46
Kinda curious if the Bucks can bully ball the Suns. The Crowder-Portis may be the x-factor in this series.

Sun's bench as well.

2.) 05 Jul 2021 23:21:06
It's going to be a tough tough series. PJ is going to be factor as well. Just hope refs don't let Paul do his flopping.

3.) 06 Jul 2021 04:46:10
I think Suns biggest X Factor will be Bridges. They’re going to need him to lock up Middleton and play great on offensive end too.

4.) 06 Jul 2021 18:22:39
Do they need him to win the series? Yeah, they do.

Middleton and Holiday had good games in place of Giannis, but you can win the finals without your best player.

5.) 06 Jul 2021 19:03:07
The Freaks been upgraded to questionable from doubtful.

6.) 11 Jul 2021 02:18:06
Bmil unless your the Lakers having magic Johnson.

02 Jul 2021 16:30:36
Does it look like Atlanta might be too tired to win this series?

Will the Hawks match any offer sheet over 100 mil for Collins?

biggie

1.) 02 Jul 2021 18:03:36
Probably. Primarily because of his connection to Trae. Gallo is probably the man on the out.

2.) 02 Jul 2021 18:19:18
If I was Hawks I would resign Collins, he works well with Trae and can be a 3rd option on contender.

If I was Hawks I would package players for a another superstar to go along with Trae

A package of

Bogi Reddish Huerter and picks

Or

Gallo Hunter Reddish and picks.

3.) 02 Jul 2021 19:07:15
Yeah, they simply can’t let him go for nothing. It’s way too big of a hit. Even if they resign him with the idea to move him at the trade deadline or next offseason, they have to sign him this offseason.

4.) 02 Jul 2021 20:32:44
Been saying all along, Bogdan, Reddish, the young center, and picks for Beal.

5.) 02 Jul 2021 21:38:03
Bogi plays for the Clippers. Do you mean Bogdanovic?

Not quite sure what you mean on Collins, you said you'd sign him, then he'd be a 3rd option on a contender?

I'd love to see him on the Celtics.

6.) 03 Jul 2021 01:24:25
Yeah you need a 3rd option as a contender that can give you 15-20 a game. And step up as a 2nd option some games when needed. I can see Collins having a Bosh role offensively.

7.) 03 Jul 2021 02:35:25
Ummm. @biggie. "Bogi" is the nickname Bogdanovich got while in Sacramento. And "Yogi" not "Bogi" plays for the Clippers. SMH.

8.) 03 Jul 2021 17:39:02
Sorry Fred. I don't know all the nicknames, and wasn't thinking of Yogi. We're not all as smart as you seem to be or think you are. I hope this doesn't warrant detention! SMH.

Sorry NBA, my bad, and to be honest I was thinking of Boogie Cousins. You thinking a guard?

9.) 03 Jul 2021 18:01:57
Biggie I think a dream option for them would be PG if Kawhi bolts. Hawks can offer a great deal for them to both stay competitive and build for future.

10.) 03 Jul 2021 18:29:06
PG would be a good fit on the Hawks, not a bad idea.

11.) 03 Jul 2021 18:51:32
I really can't see them realistically getting Kawhi, although he would make them better. I think a Marcus Smart would be a nice piece to add, but what would Boston want back?

12.) 03 Jul 2021 20:55:23
@biggie. Detention? no. Extra Credit Homework assignment? Yes.

13.) 03 Jul 2021 23:08:25
I think if Boston were to trade Smart, they'd have to get a starting PG back. That's the one area Atlanta can't help anyone with. Unless it was a 3 team deal.

14.) 04 Jul 2021 16:13:50
Nightcap, they also have 25m+ in TPE's they could use to acquire a PG. TT will be traded as well, so if they can trade Smart and TT for a 1st round pick and an expiring contract would help expedite that max slot they need to get them back to where they want to be. There is chatter about moving Horford but honestly if he can be the same Al as before he'll work out fine. Philly didn't use him right and OKC told him to go home when he was playing well.

Freddie, detention would be more fun! Especially if you were there. INCOMING!

15.) 04 Jul 2021 21:36:31
I never did the detention thing, I went all the way to suspension or expulsion.

16.) 05 Jul 2021 15:59:22
Come on Freddie, you want people to think your a bad boy now? I think your just a fisherman with a lot fish tales.

Fisherman Rules.
1. Bait your own hooks.
2. Clean your own fish.
3. Tell your own lies.

29 Jun 2021 12:04:34
Is Kawhi going to opt out?
Is Kawhi going to sign an extension?
Is Kawhi going to be Kawhi and just change LA jerseys?

biggie

1.) 29 Jun 2021 15:39:26
won’t be an extension I don’t think. If he returns he’ll opt in and go into FA next year unless they win a title.

2.) 29 Jun 2021 18:46:53
I'm thinking he'll hit FA this year. With the Spurs and now the Clippers he has questioned the medical team. The new team better have a staff that thinks his way.

3.) 30 Jun 2021 04:18:59
I think he opts out because he now qualifies for the 10 year vet supermax contract.

4.) 30 Jun 2021 23:23:54
Depending on this injury will determine what he gets. Just got the feeling he's going to pull a Spurs on the Clippers.

The Knicks may be the landing spot if he jets.

Nightcap, Boston needs a PG.

Denver is getting boned here. They need to get the draft swap and Boston needs to give two 2nd round picks to Nuggets.

Philly gets Brown and dumps a head case. Simmons got bitten by the deadly Kardashian/ Jenner Cobra.

Honest opinion, this trade would never happen.
