Knicks players have little value. They won 17 games this past season.

2.) 15 May 2019 13:30:42
The Pelicans won 33 games. Does that mean Davis has little value?

3.) 15 May 2019 13:45:46
Yet 2 weeks before the ny/ dal traded, you proposed Smithjr for J. Brown you hypocrite. Knicks with 17 are more together, then Celtics are right now.

4.) 15 May 2019 13:53:24
Going to take #3 and both Dallas First rounders. let's see how desperate the Knicks are.

5.) 15 May 2019 14:16:05
Shizzee, you've got to drop that one man. Brown had a horrible start to the season, and I can definitely understand why someone would think he and DSJ were on the same level without actually watching Brown play. Also, it's not like Brown and Davis are the same level of target at this point.

6.) 15 May 2019 16:48:37
I don't get how people can say the knicks players have such little value because they only won 17 games. The Lakers only won 37 with the best player in the league. Then blame it on him only playing 55 games. You still had him for 55 games. If those young guys were that valuable, they would have won more games.

7.) 15 May 2019 17:31:36
Throw in Knox and it’s the best package on the table imo.

forma

1.) 20 Mar 2019 13:58:59
Phoenix? Seriously? Why would Davis or Irving want to go to the worst run franchise this side of the Knicks?
That one is for you Shizzee. Lol.

2.) 20 Mar 2019 14:39:27
Lol although one of the best in the league with Davis Sun's still hang up Ayton maybe a top player the same with Jackson these guys are really young and then you add in another possible top pick in this yrs draft umm no thx.

3.) 20 Mar 2019 15:13:12
Pels, Suns, Knicks definitely have obstacles with ownership to overcome before they can be taken seriously I think. I don't think the last drama with Sarver is going well. I would be embarrassed to play for a cheap skate billionaire.

4.) 20 Mar 2019 15:19:51
Interesting deal, Ayton may be enticing enough to peak the Pels interest. There is no doubt though that they would have to land another star (Irving) to have any chance of re-signing AD after next season.

02 Feb 2019 09:28:04
If Bulls can land RJ Barrett in 2019 Draft -> trade for a star PG

Bulls trade Parker, Dunn, Hutchinson, 1st round pick 2020 (top 8 protected), 2nd round pick 2020 Grizzlies
Pelicans trade Holiday

Bulls:
Holiday/Arcidiacono
LaVine/Valentine/Blakeney
#2RJBarett/TLC
Markkanen/Portis
Carter Jr/Felicio

forma

1.) 02 Feb 2019 14:07:15
To do this the Bulls would have to pick up the option for Parkers 2nd year. Smarter move would be to buy out his second year, and offer the cap space to Memphis.

EAST COAST SHUFFLE

works on trade machine

Hornets trade Walker, Batum, Monk
Hornets get Jackson, Shumpert, Johnson, 1st round pick 2018 Nets, 1st round pick 2020 Pistons

Pistons trade Jackson, Johnson, Galloway, Ellenson, 1st round pick 2020
Pistons get Thomas(use trade exception), Batum, Rose, Monk

Cavs trade Thomas, Shumpert, Rose, 1st round pick via Nets 2018
Cavs get Walker, Galloway, Ellenson

Hornets:
- sure Hornets lost some talent with this, but with Nets' and own pick Hornets could have a good draft (good draft class) in order to finally overcome mediocrity
- gain much flexibilty
Jackson/MCW
Lamb/Shumpert
Johnson/MKG/Bacon
Williams/Kaminski
Howard/Zeller

Pistons:
- all in move with a new IT in Mo-Town and i think Detroit will have arguments to ensure IT's longterm stay (talent, contender status... + uncertainties about IT's future at all around the league)
- get a playmaking wing, who can make plays, shoot the 3's and defend with Batum
IT/Smith/Rose
Kennard/Monk
Batum/Bullock
Griffin/Tolliver/Leuer
Drummond/Reed/Moreland

Cavs:
- Cavs need a change in locker-room and some fresh blood, Kemba will all bring this immediately, Galloway is a solid vet, Ellenson a very talented big who will learn from Love
- yes Cavs lose the Nets pick but Kemba is clearly an update over IT (also longter, age, contract situation) and Ellenson also was a #18 selection by the Pistons in 2016
- get another trade exception for Thomas to go after Evans
Walker/Calderon
Galloway/Wade/Korver/JR
LeBron/Evans/Osman
Love/Crowder/Ellenson
Thompson/Frye/Zizic

Who will make the playoffs in the west?

#1Warriors (/)
#2Spurs (/)
#3Rockets (/) (added CP3)
#4Thunder (+2) (added PG13)
#5Wolves (+8) (added Butler, Teague, Crawford, Gibson)
#6Grizzlies (+1)
#7Pelicans (+3) (training camp)
#8Clippers (-4) (new face/team Teodosic, Gallinari, Beverley but very experienced)
________
#9Nuggets (/) (due to the west)
#10Blazers (-2) (due to the west)
#11Jazz (-6) (need at least 1 season to recover, but still playoff contender)
.....

Thoughts?

forma

1.) 10 Jul 2017 14:01:55
I think the race will be legitimately 11 deep (maybe even 12 if DSJ on the Mavs can continue looking half as good as he looks in summer league since with Matthews, Barnes, Dirk and Noel they don't have a bad starting lineup) .

Personally I'd have Nuggets making it ahead of Grizzlies, Pelicans and maybe Clippers. They could really cement their place in the playoffs if they upgraded at point guard (I think they should roll the dice on Bledsoe who I think should be relatively cheap to get considering recent trades, his injury history and the direction Suns are going in) . The Nuggets depth should help them a lot over the course of the season.

If I had to bet I'd say Grizzlies don't make it (and certainly not as 6th seed) as they are an older team that has already lost Randolph, Carter and could potentially lose Tony Allen and Green.

I think Clippers will struggle mightily without Paul who made Jordan and Griffin's life a lot easier. Beverley although a great defender and shooter isn't a playmaking pg (I don't know much about Tedosic) .

Pelicans will be interesting to watch since Davis and Cousins duo can be unstoppable or a complete train wreck. Even so I'm not convinced the supporting cast (Holiday included) is enough to get them by especially over the grind of the 82 game season.

Many expected Portland to be much better last season. Maybe they rebound this year with Nurkic adding a new wrinkle to their team.

Jazz should have a good team and they have guys on their team who can probably step up a bit in Hayward's absence but with no major signings to try and replace his scoring I think they'll struggle to put the ball in the hoop especially with little floor spacing having Rubio, Favors and Gobert on the floor potentially starting together. Don't like their odds to make playoffs.

Spurs trade Aldridge, Green, 2nd round pick
Spurs get Wade, Okafor

Bulls trade Wade
Bulls get Aldridge, 2nd round pick Spurs

76ers trade Okafor
76ers get Green

Spurs:
- Murray will be Spurs long-term PG solution so don't go for older Lowry, Hill, Teague...
-> instead resign veteran backcourt to secure veteran leadership (Ginobili, Mills)

- resign Gasol(1+1y), Mills(4y), Simmons(4y), Dedmon(4y), Lee(1y) & Ginobili(1y)

Murray/Mills/Parker/White
Wade/Simmons/Ginobili
Leonard/Bertand/Blossomgame
Gasol/Lee/Leonard
Dedmon/Okafor/Gasol
- Okafor will get a boost in SA under coach Popovich and the winning culture of the franchise and its veterans (Leonard, Parker, Gasol, Ginobili, Wade...)
- in 2018 Wade, Parker & Ginobili (+ Gasol maybe) will be FA (Aldridge and Green would be under contract until 2019) = gain much flexibility ~35m cap space more
-> Add major FA at frontcourt (primary: PF)

2019:
Murray/Mills/White
Wade/Simmons
Leonard/Bertrand/Blossomgame
FA/Gasol
Okafor/Dedmon/Gasol

Bulls:
- get a veteran, former All-Star PF/C Aldridge to teach Markkanen, Portis at least until 2019
- add 2nd round pick

76ers:
- add veteran shooter and good locker room guy in Green
-> release Henderson
