Why would Wolves want both of those awful contracts? They can get Peks contract off the books due to medical retirement so he isn't really an issue especially since he is only signed for one more year.

Love this deal for the Lakers as far as unloading two very poor contracts. Not a huge fan of the fit talent wise though.

I actually like the trade for Suns a lot. Knight doesn't have a small contract himself and moving him frees up more minutes at guard slots. Moving up to #2 guarantees they get Jackson who would be a great fit for that team and Deng would be a great mentor for him (Suns have plenty of cap space and guys on rookie deals for next few years to stomach his contract) .
For the Knicks this isn't close to enough for Porzingis and to the right team Melo isn't completely toxic and although he may not have much value won't require giving up a major asset like Porzingis to offload him.
