76ers / Lakers

Sixers get Jordan Clarkson
Lakers get their #1 pick back next year.

Clarkson is a 6'5" pg who can shoot. 12ppg, 45% as a rookie, 83% from the line. Very athletic. Just turned 23 a few weeks ago. Would be a Perfect fit next to stauskas in the backcourt.
Lakers invested the second overall pick in DeAngelo Russell who is essentially the same type of player, just with a bit more upside. Lakers get their pick back, which has the potential to be in the 6-10 range.

Lakers say no clarkson is showing improvement and he will play the two guard this year with Russell at the one. He only shot 30 percent from the 3 point line also but he worked hard on that this offseason. He's a hard worker quiet guy and expect the lakers to extend him next year ASAP

Neither team does this.

And NBA wants the Sixers to add Wroten or another pick to the Lakers pick to get Clarkson?

I think this is a good deal for both teams. Here's why:
1. Lakers invested a ton in Russell and you can't keep the #2 overall pick on the bench.
2. Russell and Clarkson are both at their best with the ball, and don't forget Kobe needing his touches.
3. Lakers get a huge return on a second round pick.
4. Lakers pick becomes even more valuable if they trade clarkson
5. Sixers would love to have a guy like Clarkson in the backcourt with stauskas.

Clarkson will play the two and while Russell develops Kobe is going to sit out about 20-25 games this year and play around 28-30 minutes. Russell and clarkson already love playing together it's the backcourt of the futur. Can't you guys understand that their goth 6 foot five guards capable of playing the one and the two.
