HUGE Offseason for Orlando

Move #1

Magic-Cavs

Magic get: Irving, Shumpert

Cavs get: Vucevic, Payton, Fournier S&T 4 yr 60 Mil,2016 1st rd pick, Lakers 2018 Pick

Move #2

Fire Skiles --> hire Thibs

Move #3

Sign Horford to a Max Deal

Move #4

Sign Noah 3 yr 30 Mil

Move #5

Sign Parsons 4 yr 80 Mil

Move #6

Sign Lin 3 yr 18 Mil

Conclusion: Orlando brings in the star they need in Irving. They fire Skiles and hire Thibs who is one of the best coaches in the league. By signing Horford and Noah it brings you defense and experience this young team needs plus they reunite from when they played in UF together. Parsons is from Orl and would never say no especially if they offer him 20 Mil a year.

Conclusion, you are so far over the cap its incredible.

Horford - 25 mill
Noah - 10 mill
Parsons - 20 mill
Lin - 6 mill
Shumpert - 10 mill
Irving - 17 mill

That alone has you right at 98 million, well over any cap and you still have watson at 5 mill, olidapo at 6.5 mill, gordon at 4.3 mill, mario at 4 mill.

unless the small market magix decide they want a pay roll exceeding 120 million and RIDICULOUS taxes. it just makes no sense.

Only way it work if they do the step one last. they can go over cap to sign and trade fournier but can't Max on a sign and trade. Plus it equals 88 not 98.

lol.88 million to fill out half the team instead of 98, my bad. then an additionaly 20-35 million for the rest of the roster.

So they go from 63 million this year, to about doubled next year.

With the tax structure in place, you are looking at WELL over 150 million in salary.

Good math ben, good math.

About 125 with luxury tax.
