This is only if the Cavs feel the need to change the team or if they thought the Warriors were to much and wanted their own big 4. I get the idea where people think they won't trade Thompson but they will for a star because they said the only true untouchables are Bron and Kyrie. They wanted Aldridge before and I bet if the feeling is mutual with Aldridge in desire to play with the big 3 and make it the 4 then Cavs could do it.

Faried
Barton
Shumpert
Frye

If the Spurs feel Aldridge is truely not worth it then I feel Pops will love Farieds hustle and energy with his defensive mindset and ability to play well in a team by doing the little things. I think add Shumpert to Leonard and Faried and Mills and that 4 is a fearsome defensive core to build with. Barton is a young player on the rise for Pop to teach and Frye is the mentor big that Spurs are famous for but he can of course still contribute.

Since the Nuggets have been trying to find a home for Faried at a good cost then they do with Thompson who is pretty much Faried without the current tension they have and the also add Green to who can fit with the young core like Galo does and help lead them and with chandler coming back it clears the log jam of minutes. Of course McRae is who he is and a young offensive threat who will only get better. Overall good return for Faried and Barton.

The cavs need a defensive player in the middle.
K Love and LMA isn't a good defensive combo
LMA wants to be more involved in scoring and that's not going to happen in Cleveland.

It's not a bad return for the Spurs They could take this offer if LMA really wants out.

I like Green going to the Nuggets, but they don't need Thompson, K Love would be a much better option.
