Knicks Rebuild

NYK- Jae Crowder, #3 pick 2017, 2018 LAL/2019 SAC pick (Bos)
BOS- Kristaps Porzingis

Boston essentially trades the 1st pick, and Jae Crowder for Porzingis. They are the favorites to sign Heyward as well. This gives them a starting 5 of Horford, Porzingis, Heyward, Bradley, Thomas. Very strong team to compete in the East. The Knicks love Josh Jackson and could select him at 3.


NYK- #14 pick
MIA- Carmelo Anthony

The Heat were able to shed Bosh's contract. Melo would bring another piece to a pretty solid core. Maybe this could lure in Lebron next year.


The Knicks would have picks 3, 8, 14 this year and most likely two top 5 picks next year (their own and LAL pick if its between 2-5). They would be able to spend money in FA and attract some bigger names with a good young core.

AJ- Don't think Knicks are trading Zinger. For the Knicks to trade Porzingis within division, it will cost Boston at least Crowder AND 3 #1's. Not sure if that's what you posted.

Crowder and two top 5 picks seems like fair value for porzingis. I like this deal for both sides.
