-Sign Nerlens Noel 3yr 55m (player option)

•Trade Eric Bledsoe, Dragan Bender, Elijah Millsap, Derrick Jones jr, and Miami's 2018 1st to Cleveland for Kyrie Irving and Channing Frye

•Suns-Twolves-Kings trade
SUNS get Garrett Temple
TWOLVES get Jared Dudley
KINGS get Cole Aldrich and a 2nd rd pick (via Twolves)

-Sign Greivis Vasquez 1yr minimum

I like the trade for Irving (although not sure Millsap and Jones are necessary since Cavs don't really have roster spots for them and just waiving them is expensive with them deep in luxury tax) . Moving Dudley for Temple isn't a bad move and they could also try to send him to Cavs for Shumpert.

I'm not crazy about the Noel signing. It isn't awful but Suns aren't going to be a playoff team with or without him so I think they'd be better off being patient and maybe targeting a more impactful player next offseason as well as improve their pick by having slightly worse record. If they make the move for Irving I think the Suns will have to explore more aggressive moves including their remaining picks, young players and salary space if they want a real shot at keeping him for more than 2 years when NY will likely be more attractive than it is now (can't get worse) .
