I can see why Minnesota would like Donovan, but why would OKC want anything to do with Thibodaux? He is a terrific defensive coach, as an assistant. He is not a good head coach.

He would play the Hell out of westbrick. Good pairing.

he is not a good head coach?

Hes made the playoffs 6 of 7 years, including the first time in ages for minnesota. He took over a bulls team that was 41 and 41, and turned them into a team that was 42 games over 500. If you think he is a bad head coach, you clearly don't know what a good one is.

Um, he didnt. I seriously have no clue what you are talking about. His first year, the team was AWFUL. His starting lineup was rubio, lavine, wiggins, towns and dieng. The two bigs are good, the other 3 are not. Lavine and wiggins are likely the worst defending tandem in the league. Rubio and wiggins can't shoot. So clearly, that team was not talented.

This past year, with the best player (butler) out 25% of the year, he brought the team into the playoffs for the first time in years.

How is that underachieving? They had the same record this year as the all amazing spurs, better than the heat, the bucks, the pacers, all while playing in the significantly harder western conference. Simply saying he had talent and underachieved is wrong. Throw some type of info out to rebut that, because the facts show a decent coach.

Dieng is not good.
