I'm a believer in Hayward, but that's a really good trade no matter how the draft pans out. I don't think there will likely be a big difference between the 10th and 14th pick, but there's a possibility someone I really like around 6 or 7 falls a bit to make the draft choices alone worth it. Adding to that the money you free up to swap Hayward and Bazemore, and I'm sold.

This is a great "we're not moving everything for Davis" trade. You save about $14 million this season alone on the swap. Get Horford to opt out and resign a longer term deal for what I'm guessing will be more like $20 mil per year as opposed to the $12 some crazy people are projecting, and you're left with something like $30 million to play with. Let Kyrie leave and bring in someone who fits better and is actually a team first, hungry player like Kemba or even a younger guy like Russell.

With all of that, I don't have any idea why the Pistons would do this.

Bad trade. Look what the Nets had to add to get rid of Crabbe. Hayward gets way more and isn't much better. Also he has two years left. So the Celtics have to add several Picks. But they will never be able to trade up in the draft by sending him out!

Celtics fans have to realize that at some point.

Not bad at least it makes sense. But I don't think Drummond helps our team. But the hawks do need an upgrade at center. Also we rather send Plumlee than Len.
