I doubt Chicago gives up the Portland pick considering that Chicago's pick will be heading to Orlando. This trade fsent make them title contenders.

@MD. What you are saying is short-sighted. Yes, they can give up the pick and get Kuzma and lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. Then they have to resign Kuzma & Vucevic while having no draft pick to add "cheap" talent to improve the roster. Welcome to the luxury tax for a 6-8 seed in the East.
