76ers get Marcus Smart, 2016 Brooklyn 1st round pick.

I would do this trade straight up if I were the Celtics. Maybe even throw in a 2nd rounder. But, a 1st round pick as well? Let alone 1 that will probably be top 5? Ainge would be insane to pull the trigger on this deal.

Probably just smart for Noel straight up or Noel for Brooklyn pick. There both fair deals and probably could help both team considerably.

What the Celtic fans don't understand is we (The Sixer can wait) . But the Celtics are in Win-Now mode. So if they want the shotblocking-Defensive center they NEED, then they will give up what's need to make it happen. IJS.

That same package could get you a more established center then Noel. That's why the cost has to be reduced. Either smart or Brooklyn pick for Noel makes more sense.

It all depends on how much the Celtics want to Win this season. This is also going to be (if does happen) will be a deadline trade. Bcoz the Celtics will wait to see how bad Brooklyn will be up to the All Star break.

I think cousins could be had for a package of Brooklyn pick Bradley. Sullinger and maybe a bostons first rounder this year which will be considerably higher once they get cousins.

That's not much more for a much better center who under team control and is a legit star.
